The 2nd TIRAMISU Summer School takes place from September 14 to 18, 2026 in Munich. This edition is led by industry: Infineon Technologies, Cadence Design Systems and KPMG each host part of the week, so the doctoral candidates spend it on company premises rather than in a lecture hall. Endri Kaja (Infineon Technologies) chairs the event.
Infineon opens the week at its CAMPEON campus in Neubiberg. Monday is given to Infineon speakers, with talks on design for reliability, RISC-V in industrial practice, production test throughput, analog defect simulation and an NPU built for the extreme edge. Tuesday and Wednesday hand the floor to the project partners: TU Wien, PoliTo, TalTech, TU Delft, the University of Cyprus and TU Munich. Both days also carry things the doctoral candidates cannot get from a slide deck, including a poster forum, a hands-on electronics session and a guided visit to the Infineon DFT labs.
Cadence Design Systems hosts Thursday in Feldkirchen with a full day from its own engineers, covering chiplets for automotive computing platforms, agentic verification, formal verification, fault injection and automotive cybersecurity under ISO/SAE 21434.
KPMG closes the week in Munich with an Industry and Innovation Day built around the project's work on innovation management. Rather than another round of talks, the day asks the doctoral candidates to map their own research onto industrial use cases, and ends with a panel on what a sustainable European Edge-AI ecosystem actually requires. The TIRAMISU Advisory Board and Management Committee also meet during the week.
